Breakin'



Anyone else in the fam remember that? We had the soundtrack on vinyl, I think I was eight or nine at the time.

And some Kraftwerk, just 'cause it's cool and I really like the visuals:



Modern design and electronic music work so well together.

I have no recollection of what happened in the movie, but a very strong recollection of coming home afterwards and break dancing in the living room of the stagecoach station. My childhood was boss. It's no wonder why I really want to live in NYC (between this, my earliest movie recollection, the Cosby Show, my earliest TV recollection, and Feel For You, my earliest song recollection - if not all are related to NYC specifically, at least all are very urban).

I remember Breakin' pencils where they showed you the moves via a white stick-figure imprinted on the wood!
