That's change I can believe in -- the whitehouse.gov website is already up and running under new management. And, quite possibly, the President might even understand how it works. More importantly, he understands how we work. May God bless Barack Hussein Obama.

FANTASTIC!!! I can't wait for Savior Obama's Socialistic agenda to roll out. I'm super excited that more of my hard earned tax dollars will be taken to help cover the costs of more useless Federal programs. It's a great day when our President invites a gay pastor to give a prayer at the White House. The Founding Fathers must be so proud!

Ah yes, a troll. There will doubtless be people who don't "get it". All I can say is, it's about time we have a person in the White House who will actually try to do the right thing, instead of pursuing a selfishly partisan political agenda. Our country was sold to the highest bidder -- the oil companies, the private security companies, the exceedingly rich (who've apparently done a good job at feeding you soundbites). We bought it back.

Headlines On This Date 4 Years Ago:

"Republicans spending $42 million on inauguration while troops Die in unarmored Humvees"

"Bush extravagance exceeds any reason during tough economic times"

"Fat cats get their $42 million inauguration party, Ordinary Americans get the shaft"

Headlines Today:

"Historic Obama Inauguration will cost only $120 million"

"Obama Spends $120 million on inauguration; America Needs A Big Party"

"Everyman Obama shows America how to celebrate"

"Citibank executives contribute $8 million to Obama Inauguration"

Nothing like fair & unbiased coverage of the news! Looks like you really did BUY it back!!! Who is really being fed the soundbites here? Hmmm... I'll let you get back to your Obama Kool-Aid.

I like the quotes from that chain email (apparently its all over the crazy side of the Internet). I'd rather we spend $120 million on a real President than $3 trillion(and counting) on the crazy irrational lunacy of a fake President. And that's just one of the many mistakes Bush made; if anyone thinks the housing bubble wasn't going to burst (and knock our economy down in the process), then I have a bridge to sell you that'll connect to a remote island in Alaska...

...adding, here's some number-crunching:

Media Matters

I know that's a lot of text, but it's quite instructive...

yeah, 3 trillion dollars and our dignity, respect, etc. I think there needs to be a huge party after 8 years of sheer stupidity. It's the only way to pretend Bush never happened.

I wonder how many other Bill O'Riley/Fox news/Rush Limbaugh quotes the anonymity of blogging will delight us with? Copy and paste is a great feature.

I echo your plea, "May God bless Barack Hussein Obama." There are many challenges ahead for our country and I think it is perfectly appropriate to invoke Deity on behalf of our elected officials, be they national or local.
