Two channels of Baby Animal (www.jlmaudio.com) goodness, courtesy of Santa (a.k.a B). In case you're wondering what this thing does, you can plug two microphones into it and it'll amplify them so you can record them. Some microphone amplifiers sound better than others, this is one of those that sounds really good. And it's a good deal if you don't mind some assembly (I bought the box, the knobs, and other assorted bits seperately); the really good ones go for upwards of $2000. My total cost was about 1/10th of that. I've recorded some music with this but nothing worth posting yet.
EDIT: Well, there is this track. Drums were recorded using two mics (sm57 above snare, MXL 909 next to kick) running through the Baby Animal.
